1. The contrarian take

Why it works: pattern interrupt. Viewers expect agreement; you flip it.

2. The POV

3. The "I tested" hook

4. The number

6. The single-question

What NOT to do

  • "Hey guys, today I want to talk about…" — algorithm-killing intro
  • "If you don't know me, I'm…" — saves the hook for after the intro, never works
  • Music swell with no spoken hook — wasted first 2 seconds
